Digital equipment on the road : one battered USB thumbdrive on my keyring, cap missing after it went thru a cycle in the washing machine. Camera. Zoom H2 for the soundclips.Posting from Kaza. I'm hearing that HRTC is planning to offer onboard wifi to compete with the upcoming train - then I'll bring a laptop.

Are you saying then, you make your blog updates from cybercafes on the route?.
KS [Suhana Safar]
Thanks Dilliwala. Will do that.
By the way, out of curioity I just took a look at the "Similar Threads" list at the bottom of this page and guess what was foremost: "Arthur Road Prison Conditions" !!!!! Wonder what connection the infamous prison has with this thread.

The way Shimla is "developing" it will feel like a prison soon!
Ok, back to your Q
- what the software does is simply look for the same words in other titles (here 'conditions'), thereby throwing up some quite nonsensical links sometimes. Had someone started a thread this morning with 'Ground conditions at Dambulla for the one-day match', that wud have shown up too.

Hehehe, You bet!Was just a lil curious as had to decide for my itinerary. I got 21 days on hand and planning to chill and sulk in Parvati valley. Lets see options are still open.
Thanks for the prompt reply.

Hey Puchoo alias Sidharth
Remember that Im depending on you for an update for my husbands impending Shimla trip. I may also come along if there are enough of his FF miles to get me a flight.
Take care.

Came down to Manali today from Keylong , 5.5 hrs with shared jeep.Excellent weather. Muddy stretches before & and after the Rothang, no real problems. Chucked some decent snowballs at the pass. The preceding two days were rotten , bikers coming in to Keylong looking ragged. Met friend from Spiti here who had an an hour of impressive snowfall near the Kunzum La. Will post pics later.
@vistet ... We wait for the pics to do the talking .. Glad to know u had a good one ..
Cheers !!
