Only one trek in Ladakh?
Calling all Leh/Ladakh experts!
If you could do only one trek in Ladakh of around 12-14 days duration which one would you do? Or would you do two smaller treks say 7 days each? The month is September 15-30 2008.. awaiting your responses Thks Sujoy |

Well, it depends on how fit and used to trekking you are, and if you plan to join a group or do it yourself.
The most popular trek is Markha Valley - unfortunately when I tried to do it Ladakh had unheard of flooding, so we couldn't complete it. On the other hand if you would like to see more of the Buddhist temples you could head to Lamayuru. And if you are really fit, you could head up a peak! |
