Mount Mentok
Jullay to all!
Has anybody been to Mt Mentok, a peak beside Tso Moriri Lake? I would like to get some information about the technical or any other difficulties climbing to that amazing peak. High sicknes is a thing that I don't have problems with. Thanks! |

Steep slope
From whatever little I have heard, parts of Mentok I are a steep ice climb varying from 30 degrees to 50 degrees which requires crampons and ice axes and other equipment.
Its not a simple plod up. Portions are technical. . .

AvidTrekker, thanks! Looks it is a mountain for quite skilled climbers.
In any way, I will be glad for some another information from people that reach the summit  |
