Leh In October End

Hi..
We are going to leh in the end of october right after diwali...we guys dont have any choice to make changes in our plan...we desperately want to face the nature now...becoz we know what we want....Now, the wise part is that we have bikes ...we all love them and dont want to go on any other type machine...all the bikes are good powered but still who knows when nature falls. Also we all dont want to give up this time becoz it may or may not be once in a lifetime part. October end may not be a good choice for us..but still we will.
Need your frequent support now and want to know all the possibilities to reach that place nomatter whats the distance...also want to know that is it will be snow capped passes above manali...???
Also i read the blogs ...written...october to novmber is the best time to go...if we give a damn to the touring season of leh....the real beauty seems in that time period....
Please Suggest...

As, you may have read on the forum, it gets freezing cold after September. So, you may face lot of problems due to bad weather. Especially, when you are traveling with bikes.
But, the fun part is, you would see lot of snow

Hey kainmustaine,

gud to know that u hav kinda similar plan as ours except that we'll prefer a car....i had a doubt, though....many ppl hav told me that manali-leh highway'd be closed by the time we are planning to go i.e. oct end/ post diwali....similar to u guys...even we cant pre/ postpone the trip coz of so many variables involved....so, i'd be happy if u can share ur views abt this...
