Ladakh Lake Tour

Hi,
I wanna camp over at Pangong Tso & Tso Moriri back to back in July. Is it possible to reach Pangong Tso in time & comfortably from Tso Moriri?

Alternatively, is there a direct route to Tso Moriri from Pangong? Any idea how much time it takes and the road condition?

I wanna follow this route,
Leh-Tso Kar-Tso Moriri (night halt)
Tso Moriri - Pangong Tso (night halt)
Pangong Tso - Leh

Or alternatively,
Leh - Pangong Tso (night halt)
Pangong Tso - Tso Moriri (night halt)
Tso Moriri - Tso Kar - Leh

Please suggest the best route without returning back to Leh midway as we are short on time.

I just hope you have enough time to acclimatize before moving towards either of Pangong or Tso Moriri

We are gonna drive from Vaishnodevi to Srinagar to Leh via Kargil so have ample time for acclimatization. Due to have any idea about the possibility of safely doing the lake tour as I have mentioned earlier?

The second route what most people do from Leh. But remember that Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri is a long journey and so is Tso Moriri to Leh via Tso Kar.

Sorry but No!. You are wrong on being acclimatised for Pangong - 4200 metres after 1 day in Leh at 3500. Dangerous.
Please reconsider unless you have plenty of time. See sticky 'Leh/ladakh in 5 days or lesser' either number one or 2 at the top of the page about short stays on this forum for NRI's opinion supplemented by my lengthy post.
