Ladakh in June
I'm considering a trip to Ladakh this July that would include a trek of 10-12 days.
1. How soon should I make this decision, considering it will be peak season and I will be flying into Leh? 2. Can I organize my trek when I get there? 3, Any recommended routes of particular note? Thanks!  |

Hi!
Book your flights to Leh right away!!!!! Yes, you can organise your trek once you are in Leh. 10 days in hand? - I will still vote for Markha valley if the weather is behaving. also look at these two sites: All about Ladakh and Ladakh Megapost |

It is very early to say if road route will be open in JUNE. But you should book your airticket for Delhi to Leh as soon as possible.
You can trek and as mountaingirl mentions- Markha Valley is good but depends on weather. If you are not a hard trekker- you can consider short treks also. NIMALING PLATEU and BASE CAMP OF STOK KANGRI. |
