Ladakh in August - Advice needed

Hi Folks,
Me and 2 of my friends are planning to go to ladakh in august. We plan to make it comfortable and adventurous and as all of us are working we can only devote around 7 days for it. So we will probably fly one side from delhi and return via bus or other way round. Following are some questions which i have and would be greatful if you can answer them.

1. What should be the budget excluding getting there and coming back?

2. We would like to rent bikes when we are in ladakh to explore it by ourself or may consider hiring a jeep. How much does it cost?

3. What should be our plan once we get to leh, as in what spots should be including in our itenarary?

4. Any other advices??

stay around town a 2 bed room with bath sharing will cost about
150-200 within the town center, ranges from rs 100-300/day depending on the amenities etc. keep 100/day for food approx.
go to the nubra valley and Pangong Lake apart from the numerous Gompas .
Hemis / Alchi etc check the tourism center at Leh(the govt) one they'll guide u fer free, no charges like the private ones....
u got ATM's in Leh so kkep $$ in the bank u'll be able to access it there

Since you only have 7 days at hand and I think they include returning to Delhi by a Bus (3 day trip). It is better you hire a cab in Leh, since it will take at least a day or two for you to acclimatize after flying in. Leaving you with a day or two to explore ladakh, you can do day long tours to Nubra and Pangong tso.
