Ladakh In April
Dear All,
We are a group of four guys planning to go to Leh in the first week of April. We would flying in and out.looking for certain answers. 1.What would be weather like in April.(Day n Night) 2.What all things are possible in a span of 7 days. 3.Can we go to Pan gong Lake at that time as I read somewhere that it will be closed. 4.Is it necessary to book hotels in advance? Thanks ![]() |

In april, Leh would be very sarcely populated... as neither of road are yet opened for general traffic... Moreover as the high passes like Changla or Khardungla would be covered with snow, you might not be able to go to Nubra or Pangong, but Tso Moriri could be one option, another would be Dha Village on Leh-Kargil highway. Above all trip to nearby monasteries is great as well... There are loads of Hotels and GH's in Leh for better feeling of ladakh, opt to stay in nearby villages. For hotels, I don't think its necessary to book in advance as if you can afford to pay 6-7k for flight you surely can pay 1k for room... If you like to trek/hike... it would be like heaven in April... |
