Is chusul accessible?

I am driving to leh from delhi on the 5th of july. Is chusul accesible to visitors if i want to take a detour?

Hi Buddha,

Yes... it is accessible... though you "might" have to convince the DC personally for your permits.

But accessible definitely... have just come back after doing the trip

Hope your ladakh trip was good. i am desperately seeking weather and road conditions report specially in himachal. im planning to kickstart my Leh trip on the 5th of July...but i am getting not so encouraging feedbacks on the monsoon hit roads of Himachal Pradesh. Do let me know on your feedback, also when exactly did you do the trip?

Hi Buddha,

My trip started from the 1st of JUne from Delhi and returned on 21st June.

Didnt face any weather issues though. Only time we got rains was while coming back from Rohtang to Manali.
