Hotel in Leh from Rs 1500-2000
If someone asked you to recommend a hotel in 1500-2000 rupees range in Leh (that is looking for comfort and clean rooms) what would you recommend. And no, I am not going.

I stayed at Hotel Yak Tail for Rs. 1200 last May. It was centrally located, comfortable and clean.

I stayed in Cho Palace for 1200 per double bed room in august 2007.
Its a nice place, all the mod cons cable TV, 24/7 running hot water, clean rooms/bathrooms, great views of stok range from room windows, panoramic view from the hotel open terrace, very helpful staff. about a kilometer from the main market... towards the airport. I can definitely recommend it. I think..... Hotel Shambala is considered the most luxurious option..... but no personal experience. |

Hi;
Last year I visited Leh with my family and we stayed in Hotel Khangri for Rs. 1300/- per day. The rooms were having all sort of essential facilities. Quite big room, very much clean, fully carpeted, with hot water supply, cable ect. http://triptoladakh.blogspot.com MAS |
