help help....finalize itinerary and accomodation

5th July(Sat) ----> Leh ----> Pangong Tso
6th July(Sun) ----> Pangong Tso ----> Leh
7th July(Mon) ----> Leh ----> Lamayuru
8th July(Tue) ----> Lamayuru ----> Kargil
9th July(Wed) ----> Kargil ----> Srinagar
10th July(Thu) ----> Srinagar ----> Udhampur
11th July(Fri) ----> Udhampur ----> Chandigarh

We are a group of 4(2 of them driving by turns) taking our own vehicle(Bolero). Please help me with itinerary.

1. Does this looks fine in terms of distance covered as we plan to take many photography breaks and don't plan to tire up too much.

2. Will it be a good idea to do the Srinagar circuit while going and Manali circuit while coming. Srinagar one will be good for acclimatization. Doing manali will gve us a buffer day currently used for Srinagar sight seeing.

3. Accommodation option as Pangong Tso Lake with contact information if possible. What are the damages as we plan to stay at the lake only. I don't think taking the tents from Delhi is a good idea.

4. Any recommendations for the stay at Night Halts esp. Solang Valley, Sonmarg, Srinagar and Leh.(with budget/mid range options). We are not doing any reservations from here.

5. On 30th June, should we stay put at Sarchu or Pang?

6. Any more tips/information.

Dear Nitin,

Also Start Around 4 am in the Morning fRom Slonag in order to Avoid Trafiic At Rohtang La
If you want u can Start From Darcha/Jipsa early & reach Leh by same day Evening. also U can Stay in Kyelong as the Choice of Hotels in kyelong is Wider than Jispa/Darcha
Now in Case you want to have a extra day in Leh.
Drive Down From jispa to LEh the same day. In that case you would also Avoid Statying at Pang / Sarchu. whcih is not advisable at all
Also Plan a Day out for the Local Monsatries Around Leh
Also Dont go to Pangong Tso First up. First Plan for Nubra Valley
Also When Plannin to Start From Kargil ( Plz reCheck the Crossin Time For Zoji La)
