Hi.
I´m new in the forum I will travel to India for around 6 months -specially to take a yoga teacher training ,i´ve chosen a place in Bangalore with M.S Viswanath ,the course is from September 5 to 30 Nobember. someone has been there ? i´ll arrive on July ,so i will travel July and Augoust to Uttar Pradesh: Agra ,Banaras ,Hardwar,Yamunoti ,Gangotri and if is posible to Ladakh I know this is not the best time to visit them ,but becouse of the course .. and ..i´ll travel alone -woman- wich after the things i´ve read ,i´m a little scare .... someone can advice me about budget hotels , and all that you thing would be a good advice ![]() |

Hi
Someone can give advices about how is Ladack at that time -July to August- ,and if someone know a place with the budhist monks ,and wich you can lern to meditate wih them ... it´s really a bad time to go there-and the other cities - because of the wheater ? Did someone take a yoga teacher training with Viswanath in Bangalore? ![]() |

It would be a good idea to start looking for answers to your questions by searching the threads on IM (Use search option on the top of the main page). These topics have been discussed in length in past and has loads of valuable information.

LADAKH is fine in JULY and I would say that you can safely esplore upto MID OCTOBER. You can visit monsateries-they charges entry fee but who will be able to teach you meditation is hard and neither it is that easy to learn meditation in a short visit.
I think-you have to check your plans. |

Agree with himadventures..
Ladakh is fine in July.. but be ready to fly to Leh if Manali - Leh highway is closed.. Himachal would in rains in July..
