Delhi - Manali - Leh

Hi,

I am will be reaching Delhi @ 8 PM and planning to travel to manali same night.

I checked out all the sites and forums about delhi-manali... but unable to find info....

Any volvo/sleeper bus available @ around 10 PM from delhi.

If not.... I was planning to travel till Chandigarh or Kiratpur Sahib by train..... and catch a bus...Is this fine??

Any other nearest place to manali for which I can catch a bus or train @ 10 PM.

For train you would need a booking. I woul say turn up at the bus station see if there are buses for Manali or else take one to Chandigarh and then from there to Manali. That is how we do it.

1)Will I able to get any VOLVO bus to manali @ that time??

2) My plan is to catch a bus (VOLVO) or train to the nearest place from manali.... and then continue my journey...Is this ok??

3) Should I go to Chandigarh (Train) or Kirtapur Sahib (Train) and catch a bus to manali....

4) Will bus be available during early morning hours from chandigarh (5 AM) or Kirtapur Sahib (7 AM)...

I can answer only one part, that you will get early morning buses from Chandigarh to Manali exact time when they start I don't remember but I do remember taking one fairly early in the morning.

If you want to travel to Manali in a Volvo, better get one from Delhi itself. Not 100% sure but the volvo that you will get at either of the places would likely be the one coming from Delhi and would there in the middle of the night.
