Yeah, we did visit there few times. Last year, I was shocked to see it work but this time with our GPS and few other gadgets we found out that its an optical illusion but magnetic

The reality is that the road is basically descending but an illusion is created by surrounding as if its uphill.

BTW, lolz.... I apologize to have disclosed this informations

Thanks a lot u have already killed my excitement!!!
Anyways i read in articles people saying that its not even optical illusion its just true.!!! Anyways since u have done things using GPS u must be right.!!!!

Anyways i have few more questions to ask!!
How much woolen stuff should i pack because i am planning to travel on the leh manali highway.I dont have a idea of how much cold it might get there .So please guys advice me on it.Do we need to buy something extra or would our regular winter stuff will do????
What about sun burn??? Is sun-cream needed and if yes then which one is the best??
What about less oxygen in the air along leh manali highway?? Will this factor turn out painful for new comers to the area???

There is also a Magnetic Hill in Australia and one in Canada - cars roll "uphill".
optical illusion of course - lying water also seems to be moving upwards.

You would require a double layer or a winter jacket along with a sweat shirt. Which would be sufficient enough. The temperature on the route would Vary from 10 degrees to - 10 at night.

Beware of Frost bite and Sun burn

Yeah, Sun burns are inevitable, you must either wear a face mask or apply sun screen lotion. Lake would do but I dont know if its the best one recommended.
