| Bike trip to Nubre valley Hi I am planning a bike trip with a pillion rider to Nubre valley from Leh..I have a couple of queries 1) Will I have to go and come back via khardungla or is there a different route too.. 2) Will I be able to carry the pillion rider along across such height..I heard khardungla is 18000ft..what other difficulties does a biker come across |

| You can also take the Wari La route, though it is tougher and more isolated than Khardung La. As for whether or not you can do Khardung La with a pillion, well ascent wise, Khardung La is one of the easiest passes in Ladakh and easily doable with a pillion, provided the bike is in good condition. Heck my dad's friend even took his wife and 10 year old daughter to Chang La on his 125cc motorcycle and Chang La is a lot more tougher than Khardung La! |
