| Many shops in Manali rent out Bullets / Yamahas, but most of them have old pathetic vehicles. It's a tough terrain and you need a good vehicle. Hiring a bike from New Delhi is advisable. You can ride it from Delhi itself or you may carry it by train upto Chandigarh. One reputed Delhi man is Lalli Singh of Karol Bagh. he can be contacted at lallisingh at vsnl dot com

| You can hire bikes from Manali outside Hotel Kunzam. You would have to pay them a deposit of Rs 1000/- per day. A rent of a Pulsar would be around Rs 600/- a day, petrol your own. When you return the bike you get your deposit back. |
