anyone for ladakh...may last week???

i've gone thru a lot of threads abt leh-ladakh...
i plan to do a trip starting 25th may(+/- 2 days),will start thru manali-leh-srinagar(if the manali-leh road opens) or vice versa.I plan to spend arnd 14-15days on this trip.
By all the posts i've gone thru i cud see that for visiting the more famous places like the lakes and the nubra valley, one has to hire taxis...the problem is i'll be travelling alone...so how do i visit all these places...do we some buses running or we can get to share a cab just like one does from manali to leh.
If travelling to these places will not be possible without a group taking a cab, can someone please suggest of some other places/things to visit/do(i m not much intrested in visiting monastries). One more thing...I would also love to camp near some of the lakes, where can it be possibe. And will there be enogh water for the river rafting at this time of the year?
Also if anyone is travelling at the same time...may be we can travel together...plz mail me at amitgyl@gmail.com

The road : the first vehicles over the Rothang( and first birth ! ) is already a fact , and BRO plans to have the road officially thrown open within the next days.

Buses run to Nubra, used them myself , but not every day.

If you plan a overnight stay at Pangong Tso , keep in mind that it´s a thousand meters higher than Leh : you´ll need a night at an intermediate elevation , no matter how long you´ve stayed in Leh.
