Anybody in Leh over a cup of coffee?

Hi friends,

I am reaching Leh again in a couple of days. This time for climbing one of the three peaks: Stok Kangri, Lungser Kangri or Kang Yatse.

Would be highly interested in meeting people and sharing stories over chai or coffee. If somebody is interested, we can go for some nice acclimatization walks too.

Hoping to see you around.

Cheers!!

I suppose there is a Leh meets thread...: Leh Meetups. Wouldn't expect too much of its level of activity, but, one can try. Should be plenty of folks heading up there around now, no?

But, suit yourselves, really. Matter of will people more readily notice your lonesome call, or such a meet-up thread, I guess. (Wasn't that kind of what these meetup threads are about? Hey, I'm just the piano player here.)

Ivana, take it easy. With regards to this recent fire and subsequent disruption on the ground (as in at Srinagar tense as Sufi shrine goes up in flames), of course I can't say, but I would say good chance you won't notice much of anything on the ground. Keep your eyes & ears peeled on the ground and stay abreast of events like the wise traveler that you are, and go and have a swell trip You know there's at least one someone who'll be keeping an eye on whether we won't be missing your posts for too long

(I've also touched on it before, but at least Ladakh where you'll be headed on to later, whilst technically a part of Kashmir, does not typically nor historically suffer from these tensions and conflicts.)
