Any reason it costs R2000 more to leave Leh July 23?

I plan to spend a few days (far too few...it looks like, with my current schedule, that it will only be 19-23 July) in Leh, and as I'm researching airfare, Wednesday July 23 comes up as R2000 more than all the dates around it! Any idea why that would happen?

Yes - many airlines sell tickets at different tariffs in the same class - early bird catches the worm and all that. Obviously all the cheaper seats on that particular day are already sold.

Thanks, yes, I do understand that; I'm sorry that I wasn't clear. My question (not that it's of great relevance, it's more just curiosity) is WHY that particular day might be likely to be sold up; is there some event going on that perhaps ends on July 22nd, for instance. Wednesday is not usually such a popular day, so it seemed a bit odd to me.
