ahmedabad-delhi-manali-leh june 1st week

hey anybody who can guide for this trip. we are two couples and travelling to leh in chevrolet captiva. have planned for 16 days.

I need a basic itinerary which covers all the exotic destinations along with the distances if possible.We are planning to visit nubra,tos moriri,pangong.Is there any thing else worth visiting ?Our tentative itinerary is as below

day 1 : A'bad to gurgaon
day 2 : Gurgaon to manali
day 3 : Manali rest
day 4 : Manali to Sarchu
day 5 : Sarchu to Leh
day 6 ; leh rest
day 7 : Leh to Nubra
day 8 : Nubra to Leh
day 9 : Leh to Pangong and back
day 10 : Leh to Tso moriri
day 11 : Tsomoriri to Brandy Nulla via Tsokar
day 12 : Brandy Nulla to Shimla/Parwanoo
day 13 : Shimla local s/s
day 14 : Shimla to Jaipur
day 15 : Jaipur to Ahmedabad

Brandy Nulla? Where is that?

In any case its going to be extremely difficult to reach Shimla in two days, taxis can do it, however in stages i.e. with a change of driver.

Rest looks fine, there are plenty of places to Visit in Ladakh like Dah-Hanu, Suru and Zanskar Valley etc.

I´ve done this road a number of times , and I get scared knowing I´ll meet people doing this . You should be aware of that you are at a surreal distance from safety guide lines
, moving from 2050 meters altitude to 4253 in a single day , and touching the same altitude as Everest Base Camp the next.

Some of these risks can be reduced easily , by for example sleeping a short distance from Manali, at altitude 2500 - read more here
