advance booking in July?
Dear forum
We want to visit Ladakh for around a week to 10 days in July 2010. I know this is high season and would like to ask if we need to book accommodation and trips (by jeep etc) in advance or will we be able to get better deals on the spot? We would like to see the Nubra Valley and the Pangong Lake area and of course to see the monasteries around like Alchi, Hemis etc |

Not really, in spite of the high season you would find accomodation and trips. But if you wish to go for a particular hotel that is much in demand then it is a little different.
