| Member | 2yrs old kid is safe in Leh Trip in Sep/Oct ????? Hi All, As per my panning I will visit either LEH or SRINAGAR on 29th September with my wife & Two year old daughter. Leh is my 1st prefrence but i m worried about my daughter for Leh climate. I will land at Leh on 29th morning & for return will pick the train from Jammu station on either 4th or 5th October. First of all tell me members, will Leh trip b the safe for my two yrs daughter in those days bcoz of high attd, temp of Leh & Near by Sights???? If yes then please help me to make a budget tour coz i m going to spend maximum amount from my budget for reaching Leh by flight bcoz of my daughter and thats why I will return by road to jammu & pick the train. So members pleae ignore my english mistakes & help me for the same. Kind Regards |

| If it isn't safe you don't have to worry since the child won't have a clue what is going on or be able to tell you so.. |

| I don't know if it's safe, but I would never take a two year old to Leh. I myself experienced headache and fatigue the first day in Leh after flying to Leh. I wouldn't like to do that to an infant. |

| Trust Ed to condense it in less than twenty words ... Judging symtoms is hard already in adults. I guess it would be your kids first flight as well , so you have a fair chance of arriving with a screaming kid and not knowing if it comes from altitude headache or from the ears.
