Weather in early August

I have planned my trip to Manali in the first week of August, as it is the only time I can do this trip.

How is the weather at that time, especially the rains? Does it rain heavily and how will it affect my plans to go to Rothang pass and other visits?

Though nothing can be done to change the schedule any information/tips can be useful.

Rains have been very unpredictable for the past few years. But I would say anyway enjoy your trip, whereever it may lead you
