Please guide me for a rail route to Kulu/ Manali from Rajkot. If possible advise me some real good economical family hotel.

From Rajkot you take the bi-weekly Jammu Tawi Express upto Ambala Cantt. From Ambala you can take a bus to Kullu.

At Manali, Hotel Beas is a good, economy family hotel. At Kullu Hotel Sarvari should suit you.

I want to enjoy 2 days 01 night holiday . Which will be best Shimla or manali. Can anybody guide. I am in delhi. Is it good to book vehicle at Kalka for Kalka to Simla and till Kalka go by train

I am planning for my honeymoon in Feb 2011 for 11 nights/12 days stay in shimla/manali/dharamshala/dalhousie.
My budget is approx 25,000 per head excluding my travelling expenses from Kolkata to Shimla and return.

Can some one help me with an itinerary.

Also can I cover Auli in this trip … or should I keep Auli as a separate destination?

Which one is a better place to visit first …… Auli or shimla ?

Auli & Shimla are quite far from each other.

II'll say consider either Manali in Himachal or Binsar/Chaukori in Uttarakhand.

When are you going to kulu/manali? actually, i also from rajkot and am going to manali,i will be in manali from 2nd to 5th Dec.

We ( a group of 5 frieds) have arranged a hurry berry trip to Kullu-Manalli for this three days ( 4th-7th Nov). No more chances of getting a train ticket. Please have your valuable advices for the conveyance both by bus and by train. We have planned to leave today (4th Night). Also please give the must see destinations in Kullu Manali. Also please suggest few quality ( cheap)stay faciities in both places. Awaiting your prompt responses ,that will make our journey much more comfortable and enjoyable.
