Why are you worried. Is it Indica that makes you worried than take a Qualis or an Innova or a Merc.. . If the driver is making you worried than take your own car . Otherwise for hills you need a Chopper if you can affort or else travel in state buses.

Dear Kamlesh, You'll see a lot of couples doing the same thing.....

I mean travelling in an Indica with a driver....

They are accustomed to honeymooners, don't worry too much....

Just one addl. suggestion, drop Shimla, go to Manali directly, it's more beautiful and you'll save travelling time too.

Hi Kamlesh,

It is better if you can provide the travel agency's name, so we can add some more.

I am also planning for honeymoon to Shimla & Manali.

Please share your experience with packaged tour with us or send me on hardikpatel6285@gmail.com

Thanks

Well you would not have heard but there are helicopter services in Vaishno devi etc so some people do travel in hills using a helicopter.

Of course I have heard about the chopper services in vaishno Devi, however those choppers cannot be 'hired', You pay a one-time fee for them to take you one-way or to & fro.

At the same time, thats just a one-off example of a chopper service offered in the hills. As far as I know, there is no chopper service in Shimla, Kullu-Manali, Himachal etc so I dont really see the connection. The idea of suggesting someone to get a chopper to travel in hills elsewhere is pretty much laughable IMHO.

Dear Kamlesh, Brightland at Shimla is little away from the ridge as it's close to the railway station. They have a nice terrace garden restaurant. Overall an OK hotel.

Sunpark is also an OK place.

You could choose better !
