I want to trip Shimla, Manali, Rohtang in Ist week of May 2009.

I want information about Shimla -Manali , Manali-Rohtang-Manali & Manali to Delhi Route..

1- if I departure from shimla to Manali via Govt. Bus when I go to Manali ?

2- If I departure from Manali to Rohtang when I go to Rohtang and when I leave Rohtang for going Manali before night ?
any trouble for ladies, if night journey via bus or private car ? Is this safety for ladies ?

3- How many taken time govt. bus from Manali to Delhi and what a timming ?

Tell me also best hotels near Mall Road, Shimla & Manali.
My budget is 700-1500 / per night

Shimla to Manali is a 9 hours drive by bus. Buses leave at 8.15 am and 9.15 am from Shimla and there is a night bus at 9 pm

2- If I departure from Manali to Rohtang when I go to Rohtang and when I leave Rohtang for going Manali before night ?

Manali to Rohtang is 51 km one way but takes around 3 hours. I won't suggest this doing the same day when you want to travel to Delhi. Manali - Delhi is 570 km. Just do the maths. Night journey is not a problem to Delhi as most of the buses leave in the night only. Safety is not an issue at all here.

3- How many taken time govt. bus from Manali to Delhi and what a timming ?

Just do a search here for Manali to Delhi buses. Besides this HPTDC buses are also available to Delhi

It depends, you want to go by bus or by car! HPTDC runs sightseeing by coach to Rohtang. Check the HPTDC site for details. Cars are available from the Manali taxi union stand. Not sure about the rates here.

I guess you will not be staying at Rohtang till night. Cars and buses start their return journey by 3 pm.
