Quick 3 days trip to Kulu/Manali advise me please..urgent....
Hi frenz,
A new member to this forum and already got many info's regarding trip to kulu/manali..let me first list my trip
I would be reaching delhi on 23rd midnight by train from tamilnadu and will start to agra the following morning so tat I can reach delhi again before evening...do little shopping and again board a bus to kulu/manali..
Our main aim is to visit kulu/manali so only we are not concentrating much on delhi..hot summer is also one of the reason
..
we should again board the train in the return direction on the 29th @ 11:30 at New delhi station..
Our budget is moderate..we don't need any posch hotel to stay or a Ac bus to travel in..any ordinary or super deluxe bus is enough..
so frenz please advise me as how I can plan my trip from delhi..and what and all places I can cover in the span of 3 days..do please avoid temples in the fore most thing to visit...if the temples are on the way means no probs for us to visit them
and also tell me the lodging also
expecting lot of inputs from most of them..
Thanx in advance..

You seem to have 4 days, from 25th to 28th.
Make Manali your base and visit Rohtang Pass(if open), Naggar and Manikarn, in addition to a day's local sightseeing. You can visit these places by Himachal Tourism's deluxe coaches.
That's all you'll have time for.
As for accomodation, its a bit dicey as you'll be travelling in peak season. On the plus side, Manali has too many hotels, so try your luck.
All the best !

Hi
Hi,
Manali as base .... Acco is a big problem these days ... prefer to stay in Old Manali or at Aleo towards Naggar ... Vashisht, Solang, Hadimba ... Rohtang is crowded but worth a visit ... Try rafting on the beas .... Definitely visit Naggar .... Hike to Lama Dugh and Back ... 3 days gone ... good times
Cheers,
Dhananjay

hmm
If you go to Manikaran, you'll cross Kullu anyway! On the way to Manikaran, I'd suggest get down from the bus at Kasol, cross the river by the wooden bridge and then hike it to Manikaran on the opposite bank. It's just a few kilometres but you'll definitely enjoy it.
Cheers
