Planning a trip from Patiala to Manali

Hello there!I am planning a trip to manali from patiala by bike.I am new in this kind of trip .I want to explore a totally new kind of experience.So here is my question
1)best route to reach manali?
2)where to stay in b/w the journey?
3)low cost hotels in manali!
plz friends i need all those informations

1. Have you taken a look at the map yet? Try Google maps for directions, mostly works fine. Here is the link for the route between Patiala and Manali.

2. No need to stay anywhere in between, it's 329 kms and you can do it in one day if you start early. If you really need to take a break, just find a hotel/lodge in the town/village where you find yourself too tired to go on.

3. Try the Old Manali or Vashishth areas (both not far from the Manali town) for low cost accommodations. Just ask locals for directions once you reach Manali.
