16/05 Start for Delhi from Kolkata
17/05 Reach Delhi @ 10:00 am Start for Chandigarh
immediately / Take evening Shatabdi to Chandigarh
Night NS @ Chandigarh
18/05 Start for Simla early in the morning
Reach Simla @ moning and complete Simla local
19/05 Start for Sarahan after Lunch @12:00 noon NS @ Sarahan
20/05 Start for Sangla @12:00 after lunch
Reach @ afternoon - Visit Kamru Fort & NS @ Sangla
21/05 Visit Chitkul NS @ Sangla
22/05 Start for Kalpa - NS @ Kalpa
23/05 Visit sourrounding area of Kalpa NS @ Kalpa
24/05 Kalpa -> Shoja NS @ Shoja
25/05 Great Himalayan National Park NS @ Shoja
26/05 Shoja -> Manali Visit Kullu / Manikaran on the way;

Please suggest if the plan is ok.
Need help for the following items:
1. Accomodation at Shoja - Need 3 DBR. (Banjara Camps is too costly for my budget - so looking for some alternative arrangement)
2. Accomodation at Sangla / Sarahan / Kalpa - My budegt is around 1000-1200. HPTDC acc. are not available. So looking for alternate good private hotels.
3. Any known good driver with car (Innova/Scorpio). We are 6 adults & 2 kids (5 yrs).

There is hotel Royal Voyages in Kalpa which has started recently. This is a decent budget property. Contact person is Anuj Thakur, and he can be contacted at 9418051773

You might like to stop in Batal for a night or two and drink in the views.

GREAT PLAN MATE.looks exactly like the plan i drew.but i intended to stay at narkanda instead of shimla and visit thanedar since it was apple picking season in sep/oct.Instead of nigth stay at sangla you can stay at rakcham.

following suggestions may also be kept in mind

In stead of NS in chandigarh (while starting), you may think of stay in Kasauli. the first glimse of Himalayas ???/ and it would be cheaper apart from convinient.

also please check the conditions of road from shoja to manali. please have a experienced driver. Full your tanks before starting on that route.

manikaran visit is not possible due to constrait of time while moving from shoja to manali. Kullu is not worth visiting

What is the Taxi fare per day basis(including fuel) for Shimla-kinnaur-manali route. We are small family of 3 with limited budget & planning the above trip from 14-05-10 to 29-05-10.
