Manali :: Weather - Clothing

How would be the weather in Manali around last weeks of September? Is it going to be COOOOOOLD as in shivering?

We are basically from Bangalore so would like to know if we should carry good winter clothes, monkey caps, gloves etc? Or just a sweater and jacket should suffice?

I heard its cheaper to buy winter clothes in Manali, is it true? Between Delhi and Manali where is it cheaper?

Help please.

Hi there, we are travelling to manali in sept too. still thinking of things to pack. wat abt ur travel? how do u travel to manali? in case u take bus from delhi, please suggest abt the same. we are yet to book buses. also, share your things to pack. thanks,

Keep wind proof clothes and some items to keep you warm. Bengaluru boys may feel a bit cold

And rohtang anyways has unpredictable weather - though you can get snow costumes for rent there anyways

September can be cold in Manali.. Especially if it starts to snow in higher reaches of Rohtang. Suggest you to keep some warm clothes.

There is a huge underground market in Manali and you may buy clothes from there if required. You'll get a lot of variety, good quality and pretty cheap too.
