Manali or Dharamshala in September 09

Hi All,

I'm new to this site. We would like to visit Manali or Dharamshala in September 09. Please advice which one is best seen in September this year. Please advise about the rain, snow, temperature of the area along with the main attractions. When will the Rohtang pass open? will it always have snow? We will stay in club Mahindra resort(we have one in both places). Please suggest how many days would be reasonable and the best way to reach there from Chennai. We may not take our kid(3.5 years) for the trip as it's going to be very cold out there. We may visit the place in august too, but heard it rains heavily there then. What abt september? how much are the possibilities for rain? we have never travelled north and we are very excited abt the same. please advice.

Hi All,
I am going to baishnadavi(jammu,Katra) in september.iwant to visit simla,kulu,manali from there. will you give all information about that place and the information about cheapest accomodation? we are three in family there is no kid with us.after visiting all we return to kolkata.
