manali in december
hi all,
very nice thread and site too.a group of us (23) are going to manali on december 25.we are going to delhi by rajdhani and from there we have arranged a hptdc 27 seater super deluxe bus to manali via chandigarh.any idea how cold the weather will be in manali.being from chennai we are used to a maximum of 45 and minimum of 20..............thats hot.  any idea abt the bus ? |

Hi
Climate will be very cold during Dec. Snowfall is common. HPTDC buses are very comfortable. |

At night, the temperature drop down below zero where as during day time it will be around 10 - 14 degree C. Please carry heavy woolen with you. Even when you get down in Delhi you need light woolen during day time and a good jacket or sweater at night. In manali, there are plenty of shops from there you can purchase woolen cloths too if at all you feel cold in Manali. The super deluxe bus are good. they have push back seats which actually does push back a bit.  you will reach Manali by 10 - 11 in the morning by bus. Best of luck for the trip.  Cheers, -Nitin

a few more days......
just a month and 8 days left.all the kids are very excited.heard that snow has started in manali.will keep updating as and when possible.thanks for all ur kind responses.
