Manali Does it Snow in Late Feb?

I'm wondering if it still slows around the Kulu Valley in late February.

My questions are
1) are my chances of seeing it snow (the act of snowing) decreased likely by visiting in late Feb, rather than Early Feb?
2) will there still be snow on the ground in Late Feb? On the trees?

Also, how much do the skiing slows change from early to late feb? Do they use man made snow? Thanks.

Thanks

I went to Manali on 20 feb, 2 years back and snow fall happened on late January. Still I saw heavy snow at Kothi and Solang Valley.
So better, if you go early Feb, chances for seeing snow fall will be there. They won't use man made snow as on the way to Rohtang pass, you can see snow even in month of April.
so plenty of snow.don't worry!!

silicon brain is correct. You can find plenty of snow at SOLANG VALLEY and MARRI but MANALI town may have some flakes but never more than few cms.
As weather pattern is changing very fast- I do not think that MANALIwillbe having snow in late Feb.this year...

solnag valley is around 13-14 Km from Manali town. For stay you have too many option in Manali town, but you can stay in Solang valley too.

What makes solang Vally resort good? Their rates are very high compared to other hotels i see on makemytrip.com....and the pictures don't seem much better. Whats the 3000 INR/day difference?

Matt ! I agree but still many people wants to have luxury. I think budget hotels at Solang Valley are good options.
