Kullu, Manali and Shimla in November

Subhamoy.. thanks for posting your plan. Actually I have never been in Himachal Pradesh and I don't want to miss the toy train from Kalka to Shimla in my first visit. Now tell me one thing.. is there any specific reason of booking Rothang Manalsu in Manali? How much time will it take From Manali to Delhi, I guess it is nearly 16- 18 hours by Air Conditioned Volvo at Rs 1200 per head ..is it? How are you thinking of making the tour from Manali to Rohtang and elsewhere..is it by exclusive car that you will book after reaching Manali?

# Journey from Kalka to Simla by toy train would be a spectacular so go for it. I skipped that one to avoid Simla which is usually crowded and spend more time at Manali.

# I have not decided about making the tour from Manali to Rohtang and elsewhere, HPDTC have their own package by bus I can go for that, for Rothang the bus starts at around 10AM, but it is recommended to start early (5~6 AM) for Rothang so exclusive car will be preferable, so still thinking about what will be the right decision

I am also almost first timer to MANALI, last time I visited there as a toddler

The HPTDC bus tours do not operate during off season. So you would not have that option.

Off season!! ..ohh I thought upto 15 November it is season time there...When is the season time there? Does it end in October?
