HPTDC Bus DEL to Naggar (Kullu or Patikhul?)

im very sorry for reposting this question but the last response had mixed info and little deatil if someone may know.

best to get off the hptdc bus at patikhul or kullu? i have been recommendation both. further poster went on to say rickshaw was 60rs from patikhul. this seems very low for 20km.

where should i get off which allows easiest/cheapest/least hassle rickshaw up hill to naggar?

id just give patikhul a go save i dont know where it is in my head and ill have a bag of goodies for a fmaily so im carrying more than just my normal backpack.

should i pay less getting off there or is the ticket a straight up sale?

Hi Monk,I,m not sure where Patikhul is, but Raison is closer to Naggar than Kullu, It depends on which side of the river the bus is going to Manali, when you get to Raison some buses cross the river & pass right below Naggar at the bottom of the hill, i always thought this was classed as Naggar as well but maybe this is Patikhul. Some buses stay on the Raison side of the river to Manali, which is more direct i imagine the ones from Delhi would do this & the more local buses cross over the river stopping at all the little villages along the way.
Here's a useful site for the area. KK

Hi! Pathlikul is on the right side of the Beas just opposite Naggar and quite close to it. As far as I remember the rikshaw ride is not expensive and hassle free, just bargain a bit as usual, and ask some locals what they pay for the ride.

thanks both of you kk and voyager. i found a lp map and patikhul is right across from naggar. this is what my friend was speaking of when h ementioned 'lower road' - i always used the upper to/from manalai-kullu.

maybe ill sort it out...
