3rd day : Naggar (including Jana falls)
4th day: Move with bags to Kasol (its 3 km before manikaran). stay there. You'd reach from naggar or from patlikhul (4 kms from naggar across the road). It's 4 hours one way. Explore manikaran that day.
5th Day: Kasol and start back for Bhuntar - no need to come back to manali to take the return bus. If you're taking HPTDC volvo, it stops at River raft cafe, Pirdi. Let me know if this is the case and i can send you a couple numbers of the caretaker at the cafe (I should have them @ home somewhere). Kasol to Bhuntar is 2 hours and this will give you more time in parvati valley and also not require you to backtrack much. The HPTDC bus leaves manali at 5:30 and is in Pirdi not before 6:30 - usually later.
This makes good sense then you are not going backwards & forwards. However Kasol is more or less closed down at this time, stay in Manikaran at a hotel with hot baths which are warmer, rooms sre from 1-300Rs.
For more choice of buses to Parvati valley take any bus from Manali or naggar to Bhuntar & change for M'karan.KK

@ Vaibhav
Do we have buses to Kasol from Naggar or Manikaran and Kasol to Kullu?
Also we don't want to spend much time in travelling,a long long forest walk or river side walk is ok with us.Basically we are going there to spend leisure time.
Why I choose Naggar is because of two reason:
1. There we can go for forest trek
2. We want to stay at Naggar caslte for two days(after watching its pix,we have increased our budget just to stay here). We are ready to spend 2000-2500 here for one night
But still confusion is about Room naming.
Can anyone help me to understand the meaning of Rooms name of Naagar Caslte hotel.I want to book one room but these names making me confuse.
His Highness Suite (DBR)
Fozal Peak Suite (DBR)
Baragarh Fort Suite (DBR)
Her Highness Suite (DBR)
Green Field Suite (DBR)
River View Suite (DBR)
Devika Suite (DBR)

Naggar has amazing views, so does Solang Valley. Vashisht also has nice views. Any hotel in Naggar should be good( atleast I wouldnt spend so much when many budget hotels are available) , there 3-4 hotels in solang valley quite close to the river, all are pretty good.
Solang is one of the best places for river side walks, there are places some 10kms before Manali which have nice river sides, you'll have to check those places out.

The swagatam tours private bus goes from Manali (onto the bank where naggar lies) till Kasol and onwards to Manikarn.

HRTC buses will require a transfer. Take an auto to Patlikhul, a bus to Bhuntar or Kullu and a different bus to Kasol.

that said, what KK has written above makes this plan sound very dicey - kasol is a small place and if he says its closed, it must be. However, Alpine was open in the last week of december. So call them or sunshine GH.

Jana falls is around 11 kms from Naggar. Read a report Trip account of the kullu valley.
Kedar Janani Devasthan, Mt Abu - Udaipur, Bharatpur, Agra, Gwalior, Orchha, Jhansi

You can explore the art gallery in half a day (check the date - its closed monday). Hike up to the old krishna temple (not from the road) - ask the kardar of balatripurasundari temple. Worth the effort.

Jana is a bit far to walk - last bus in that direction from naggar is at 2 pm. It would be a 1 km walk from the drop off point.

The river is 2 kms+.

The buses coming from Manali would pick you up at Naggar, so you may reserve your tickets at Manali with request to do pick up at Naggar.

It would save your time and energy traveling up to Kullu!

I don't like to contradict unless necessary but this is not the case of HPTDC buses bound for delhi. The buses stop 4kms off Naggar on the opposite bank at Patlikhul. Naggar is on a different bank of the river beas.

@ Mhooda, you'd have to take an auto or some other transport (actually you can ask the hotel, they should be able to help with a drop, etc or at-least haul a local jeepwala for you)
