Honeymoon trip to Shimla and kulu manali

Hi All,

We are planning for a honeymoon trip to Shimala & kulu manali during last week of september 2009. I am thinking of 2 days in shimla and 3 days in Manali.
We will be starting from Bangalore and reaching Delhi by flight on 24th Sep-09.
Kindly help me out in proving the details:
1) An iterinary starting from Delhi covering Shimla, kulu manali and back to delhi
2) Places to visit
3) Hotels in and around these places to stay (range of hotel stay can be from Rs900 to Rs1700).
4) Any other tips you would like to give would also be helpful.

I recommend reading up the threads at the bottom of this page and also searching the forums first to help you decide. You can also refer the hotels section for info on accommodation.

Just one advice, on your honeymoon don't spend too much time traveling from place to place. Instead enjoy the local sightseeing at 1 or 2 places and relax spending time with your significant other. A ride in the Himalayan Queen train is highly recommended for the trip from Delhi-Simla.

Correction. I meant the Toy train that runs between Kalka-Simla. Himalayan Queen is the train connecting Delhi-Kalka.

On Honeymoon then travel by Volvo from Delhi-Shimla, Shimla-Manali
