Hi,
July 1st week is not the peak season but i would say end of the season so getting hotels wont be a problem.
From delhi either you can catch the hptdc volvo from janpath or hrtc volvo from isbt kashmiri gate.
Your best bets are these 2 semi-sleeper volvo's they'd charge you between 800-850 and government buses are better.
You can go directly and get a hotel, booking in advance is not required in july.
Almost all the hotels are gud and safe except for those in old manali and vashist which are meant for backpackers,if u tell me your budget i can tell you the names of ther hotel.
Taxi is easily available and they'd charge u anything between 1200-1500 full day for a maruti van.
Good places to see in manali is solang valley, kothi, marhi, gulaba, roht ang pass.naggar, arjun gufa, hadimba temple, manu temple, buddhist monastryvashist hotwater springs etc.

iam looking for the hotel in the range of 1500-2500 per day it will be valuable information for me too if u could provide me the information of the hotels,
i am planning to saty for 4 nights and 5 days, is it worth for staying for those many days ??
or because i had seen all the hotels are offering for 3 nights and 4 days so thats why iam asking.

do we require any any special clothes during july, because in south we have a rainy season.

can i plan one day for Delhi Agra, if i stay 3 nights and 4 day in manali, and can i go directly to agra from manali and return back to delhi by 4 pm evening, is it possible.

3. What is the means of travel for local visit?

Dear Ramlok,
The advice given above stands good in your case as well except for the fact that you need not go to Rohtang Pass for snow. There will be amble snow (and skiing, snow games etc.) at Solang Nala itself. Yet, pointwise replies to you :
1) Yes, the best one ! You will find a lot of honeymooners. It is called the best season. Though, you may find hotels a bit on higher (rate wise) side.

2) Hadimba Temple, Vashishtha, Solang Nala, Naggar castle, Reorich Art Gallary, Orchards, Kullu Shawls emporium.

3) Whatever you like - Auto rickshaw, local buses, (even walk for Hidimba, Vashishta etc.), however the taxi will suit you best (it is honeymoon ).

4) Manali is a well devleoped town frequented by visitors - indian and foreigners alike. Almost all kinds of food is available there - even foreign foods at some places.

5)Chiling ! Enjoy that season with a lot of warm clothing. Temp might be around 5-10 dec C in day and may be zero or less in night.

For hotels in Manali, check out the HPTDC hotels. You get discounts in Feb and also after 15th July. HPTDC also have an office in Bangalore.
