Couple of observations:

1. You're travelling in last week of June when temperature is going to be 40+. I'm not sure if a non-ac Indica is a very good option therefore.

2. The hotel in Manali is actually in Aleo which is quite some distance from Manali. The hotel isnt too great either.

3. Hotel in Shimla is bad, located after the tunnel with no views and literally in a marketplace. Not the place I would go to if I was on my honeymoon.

4. Hotel in Delhi is in Karol Bagh. Not the best place again.

Manali Hotel - 2800/night with CP (As per website)
Shimla Hotel - 1300/night (As per website)
Chandigarh - 1500/night (As per website)
Delhi - 1600/night (As per website)

Total Cost of Hotel - About 15k (Am sure being a travel agent he must be getting some discounts so you can assume this price to be 20% higher)

Again, Non Ac Car in peak summers is a bad idea.

My advise is, forget about the travel agent, Plan it out yourself, its more fun and you always have more options to hand.
Cheers

This sounds a rip off. Choice of hotels is really really bad. and yes AC Indica would be a better option.

Way too expensive you would be better off planning the trip yourself like Orangestreet suggested.

Are the volvo buses good for sleeping also (depends on the road condition - maybe I am asking whether the roads are good enough to permit sleeping in a volvo)?
Yes, that temperature though is Delhi temperature and not Manali. Manali would be cooler, much cooler.

Volvo buses are okay for sleeping. They are semi sleepers. I havent had a decent sleep ever in them. Having said that, I have heard quite a few snores from fellow passengers (whilst they are sleeping) so well thats that. May be am just someone who has to stretch his legs proper. Roads are great. Not a bumpy ride at all.

Have you already paid them? Considering you said you have 'booked' the package already, I hate to say this but - the hotels arent too great. For the price you're paying, I would expect much better hotels.

As far as the driver is concerned, they are generally safe but thats something which can make or break your journey. Do you know the driver/agency from a while?

Most places are safe enroute and you should not face any issues as long as you dont decide to take a pit stop at dodgy places late in the day or at night. You can probably stop at swarghat at night if you want and then continue your journey next morning. Theres an HPTDC hotel in swarghat and can be booked online if required.

Weather would be pleasant. You can stay at Narkanda if you like. Search the posts in the site and you will get a clear idea of what to see.
