| this is Brad. He's cute | I was there in September. Can't remember seeing any WiFi spots in any of the tourist cafe thingys. What does Google say?. I just Googled. Apparently there are 6 hotspots in calcutta. A couple around Howrah One at the museum.

| Yes, there are dime in dozens around Howrah and Airport. However, it was tough to get any hotspots in and around North Kolkata. Here is an extensive list from jwire : http://www.jiwire.com/search-wifi-ho...ity_id=3482687 All Barista Coffee houses have wifi access for Boingo users. Fire and Ice near Esplanade has free access. Free wireless surfing from BSNL (Indian Federal Government's Tel. Company??) may also exist at City Center mall and Indian Museum. I hard wired using Ethernet cable at a friendly cyber cafe just outside my in laws house at Giriish park. Job done and a happy camper ![]() |
