where is the best pub/sports bar to watch English football ?

Calling all ex pats and English football fans in Kolcata.

Can anyone tell me if there is a good sports bar/pub in Kolkata to watch English premier league football.

I will be in Kolcata late October and the hugh game Liverpool against Man Utd will be on.

I really must watch the game if I can get to some that will be showing it.

Can anyone suggest anywhere please ?

To be very frank there is no really English pub or sports bar in
Kolkata,unlike Bangalore or Mumbai . What you have in Kolkata
is couple of noisy Bars resemble like crowded Indian Railway
Stations.

However "Hotel Golden Park's" lounge bar used to show
EPL , its location bang opposite British High Commission
in Ho-Chi-Minh Sarani (Road) in Kolkata, you can try there.

Worse case scenario , if you are MU fan give me a SOS
I will Invite you to my place in case i am in Kolkata.

chief61, many thanks for your info. I will check out the place you suggested. As I big Liverpool fan this game is a real must to see if possible.

It may not be an unreal thing because Kolkatans are big fan of Football specially EPL, Champions league and Streets almost become empty during World Cup. So you may get lucky enough to watch EPL in some pub or bar.
