The package tours advertisements are everywhere in every newspapers/magazine in Kolkata, for pujo package booking 2015. Indian railways have also made their advance reservation period to 120 days this year.
So, where do you plan to travel this puja time? Have you started your plannings already?
Let us share our planned destinations in Durga Puja - 2015

mod note: Thread retitled to include this year's queries.

If you are willing to brave the crowds, you won't regret it. You wouldn't have seen anything like it before. But make sure you are there a couple of days before, it gives you that much extra time.

Yes, wish to see the crowd and pandals, so we are planning to reach Kolkata on Tuesday, 20th October afternoon and to remain there till Friday, 23rd October 8 PM.

I am not sure whether Vijayadashmi is on 22nd or 23rd...

The visarjans are done mainly at evening time.. SO better delay your departure for one day.
