Volunteer for NGOs

Hi All,

I am an Indian lady based in Kolkata. I want to volunteer for a good NGO in Kolkata. Can anyone tell me what are the rules for applying as a volunteer ? Also please suggest the name of some good NGOs who recruit volunteers.
I would particularly like to hear from any Indian or Expat who is already volunteering for NGO's in Kolkata. It would be of great help if they share their experience in this forum.

OP - I think it would help if you could tell what interests you have as well as skills, days/times available, etc.

Motherhouse always welcomes long-term volunteers. Orientations are MWF at 3pm at the Motherhouse.
