i really wanted to put this thread under the "major destinations" topic in general and not just " major dest. / kolkata"... will any of the mods please do it for me if its possible?
i read matty gee's tribute to delhi, when he came up with a full form for each of the letters of the city (DELHI) ... so i tried to make one for kolkata myself.. here it is... K = kaleidoscopic O = old world L = lovable K = kindly A = addictive T = treasure house A = amicable then there is the one on Calcutta too.... C = charismatic A = amicable L = likable C = cosmopolitant U = under-rated T = treasure house T = "tram" city of india A = affable a similar attempt at "delhi" and "goa" would be......... D = diverse E = energetic L = lovable H = historical I = infra-structurally developed !!! ![]() and G = good beaches O = one of a kind (at least in india) A = ass-kicking !! does anyone else have any more to add ??? any indian city or tourist spots will do. but please nothing negetive about any place..... Sorry BT, there is no general major destinations thread - that's just a heading. Alan D Last edited by Alan D : Jan 17th, 2005 at 17:09. |

its ok. the only reason i requested for that, is that i didnt want it to seem like i was interested in KOLKATA full forms alone - a (preferably witty) attempt at any major indian tourist destinaton is interesting.... even jhumritaliya !!! ![]() |
