Train ride from Kolkata to Varanasi.

Hello all,

I'm planning on visiting Varanasi for a week in Feb. and would like to travel there by train. I've heard some bad stories about Bihar, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what would be the best train to take? Also, any other comments about traveling by train would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

try rajdhani express, if i remember correctly there two things with that train u have to watch for :
1. it reaches moghulsarai (20 kms away from varanasi), plenty of transport to get u into THE VILLAGE.
2. the train comes rather at a odd time.

else it should be a wonderful journey
