Shipping from Kolkata to USA

Hi All,

Do any of you have any information or know any shipping agencies or movers who can move few items from India to USA. I do not want to use courier companies as they are too expensive. I researched for the same in internet and in IndiaMike but did not find any good info.

try Indian Postal Services if items are small in size.

and size will be around 3 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft. Does Indian Postal Service serve that kind of package?

You did not mention what type of freight you prefer,
if you send via shipping freight it will be much
cheaper but it will take longer time, incase of
Air freight it will costlier but it will be faster.

Contact any Clearing & Forwarding agent in Kolkata,
they are people who does this type of job. there are
plenty clearing and forwarding agent in Kolkata,
go to calcutta yellow page or google for their contact
details.

There is a UPS/Jet on Royd. I intend to do my shopping (small items, silks) and ship it out to the States. I do NOT want to carry goods around.
