Hello everyone,
I'm Akash (Indian), my fiancee is a Chinese national from Inner Mongolia. We've met in the city of Dalian, China. We're both hoping to settle down in kolkata soon. Are there any chinese females out there who can share there stories and experiences within kolkata/India with her? It would be great if she could know how life is for a chinese person living there, especially coming from a compatriot. Thanks, Akash email: wangtingm@yahoo.com bozzom13@yahoo.co.in |

Sorry, not a Chinese female but..
Kolkata is the only city in India where there is a Chinatown, I think. Lots of Chinese in the leather and food business. Started migrating to India about 200 years ago. The two Chinese families I knew in Calcutta had no links back home with China. I don't think you will find many recent migrants into India.
