Royal Cruiser - Jai Dada Kolkata to Siliguri Bus services stopped?

Someone told me that services of Royal Cruiser and Jai Dada from Kolkata to Siliguri has been stopped due to the illegal demand of huge amount of money by the local goons (obviously with some political support) and the buses are only running between Kolkata - Asansol/ Durgapur route.

I just tried to check the official sites of Royal Cruiser/ Jai Dada and can't find any services between Kolkata - Siliguri on any dates.


I am not very sure. Does anyone aware of the situation

Perhaps you have heard of 'Dada Boudir Biriyani' of Barrackpore

Once I heard that they compelled to charge higher... pretty higher for their famous Biriyani dish as they were compelled to pay local goons (obviously with some political support) a PRETTY GOOD amount ....

These can be heard only.... can you prove it? can it be proved ?

Neither I can prove it nor it can be proved I suppose. But can't find any Royal Cruiser/ Jai Dada from Kolkata to Siliguri too.
