really a city of joy..!!

No other in city in India offers so many sightseeing as Kolkata.
even 1 week stay in Kolkata shall not be adequate to fully explore it.
we had 1 and 1/2 day. we tried to see max possible points.
the intrest was from our children( 12 and 5 years) point of view.
we covered Victoria memorial(amazing),birla planetorim(hindi show),maidan,metro ride(maidan to esplanade), alipur zoo( so many species of animals, not cleanly maintained though), indian mueseam,
purchasing in shree leather(lindsay street) rail mueseam(howrah), botanic garden, howrah bridge, vidyasagar setu.
what we missed was science city as it takes almost full day.
we shall definately cover following in our next trip .
science city, belur math.
I love you Kolkata.

Hi, glad to know that you liked Kolkata. Not sure when you visited this city, but try to choose winter for your next trip - it will be more enjoyable.

we visted in May. It was really hot.
Shall try to make it in winter.
There is something in this city which has magnetic power, which is pulling me .
is it eternal presence of swami vivekananda or netaji or gurudeo tagore ?.
