places to go to in kolkota

I couldn't hope for many tips about kolkota! i feel like im learning alot more from u all than from books,

this is really one of the most complete sites i've been on regarding india, glad i found you all!

i wish i could drink a beer with you all though...

.is anyone of you going to be around in january, or feb, until july? i DO wanna travel alone to "follow my way" (i don't know if you can say that in english...) but it would be great to meet some of you there.

i read the posts recieved to you by other members .kolkata is indeed a wonderful place. but do visit howrah and belurmath at belur belonging to the ramakrishna mission. there you get immense peace and satisfaction. it is a place where millions of people visit every year .

further to my last message I would like to ask for suggestions for reasonable & safe accommodation, cost for hiring cars, contact details for car pool & sight seeing

Any reliable car good enough to transport me from place to place. Does not have to be any fancy model. Need quotation for block of 5 hrs booking in nonAC/Ac.
